There’s a rumor going around the docks here in Cruiseport Village in Ensenada that there was a collision last night between a sailboat returning to San Diego and a freighter. Allegedly three bodies have been pulled out of the water and they can’t find any survivors out of the 5 crew. The incident was somewhere in the vicinity of the Coronado Islands where there was another accident in the Newport to Ensenada race earlier this year. They also said that there was a large debris field between the islands and the mainland.

I’m going to go walk around and talk to the racers that are still here and try to find out more.
